    Tibia is a classic 2D game that was one of the earliest MMOS. Released back in 1997, the game features sprite graphics, a quest and job system, and a variety of monsters. There are many servers to choose from, with a mix of PvE and PvP-specific ones available. In an MMORPG people from all over the world meet on a virtual playground to explore areas, solve tricky riddles and undertake heroic exploits.
    For 10 years now, players have been visiting the medieval world of Tibia. At present, more than 250,000 players from all over the world inhabit the Tibian continent enjoying the numerous game features.
    Acting as knights, paladins, sorcerers or druids, players are faced with the challenge of developing the skills of their selected characters, exploring a large variety of areas and dangerous dungeons and interacting with other players on a social and diplomatic level. Besides the sophisticated chat tools it is especially the unique freedom players enjoy in Tibia, that create an enormously immersive gaming experience.
    Tibia is still being updated and balanced from time to time, and despite being an old game, still attracts thousands of players. The game is free to download and play, but a premium subscription is available that unlocks several more areas, cuts XP loss after death, allows use of the transport system and allows player owned homes, among other benefits.
THe highest level char in Tibia, Bubble, turned to level 200 last week. There are dozens of quests, ranging from simple ones that reward you with a decorational fanfare to the famed Annihilator Quest, where even the highest levels have trouble fightiing off the cluster of demons that await them.
